Admission

The process of Admission and Verification of selected students is through online applications on the NACTVET System – NACTVET Online Award Verification System (NOAVS)

The system Allow a student to Apply different course programs as per specified entry requirements
The Programs offered at Mtwara COHAS and their entry requirements are:-
 

1. Ordinary Diploma in Clinical Medicine

     Entry Requirements

  • Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least four (4) passes in non-religious subjects including Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Engineering Sciences.
  • A pass in Basic Mathematics and English Language is an added advantage.

2. Ordinary Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery

     Entry Requirements

  • Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE)
    with at least Four (4) passes in non-religious subjects including Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Engineering Sciences.
  • A pass in Basic Mathematics and English Language is an added advantage

3. Ordinary Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences

     Entry Requirements

  • Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE)
    with at least Four (4) passes in non-religious subjects including Chemistry and Biology
  • A pass in Basic Mathematics and English Language is an added advantage

4. Ordinary Diploma in Health Information Sciences

     Entry Requirements

  • Holders of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE)
    with at least Four (4) passes in non-religious subjects including Biology, Basic Mathematics and English Language
